Now based in Granbury, Texas, Mikah has traveled all over the world and studied a wide variety of yoga styles including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, and Power Yoga.
She infuses her teachings with a combination of peaceful zen and strength & fitness, and believes it’s this combination that brings on the most full-spectrum transformation. Mikah uses her background in alignment, anatomy, Ayurveda, and a combination of Western & Eastern yoga techniques to create empowerment and success for her students.
Mikah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®-200) with Yoga Alliance and is currently studying sustainable yoga and biomechanics with Brea Johnson of Heart & Bones Yoga. She trained in-depth with Banyan Gallagher in Costa Rica, and Chair Yoga techniques (for seniors and students with limited mobility) with Silver Age Yoga. She is also certified in Core Strength Vinyasa with Sadie Nardini, Ayurveda Foundations with Yoga Veda Institute, AFAA Group Fitness, and Zumba®.
